Core capabilities

Everything screen recording misses.

Video shows what happened. Scout shows why it happened.

1-Click Recording

Click Record, reproduce the issue, stop. The extension captures user actions, network requests, console output, and environment details.

Correlation Engine

Maps Action → Network result → Console impact → failure point. Developers get the full causal chain, not a raw log dump.

Browser Replay

No video. No screenshots. Replay .scout sessions directly in the browser and watch events unfold in real time.

Privacy-First

Built-in redaction strips sensitive data before sharing. Full control over what gets captured and what gets scrubbed.

How it works

Three steps. Zero friction.

1

Pair your domain

Create a Scout workspace and pair the domains your team tests. Sessions on paired domains sync to your dashboard automatically.

2

Test & record

Testers use the official Scout Chrome extension on your domain. Structured timelines capture actions, network calls, and errors as they happen.

3

Replay & diagnose

Review sessions in the Scout dashboard — correlations, developer notes, and full replay without leaving the browser.

Open Source Extension

Fork it. Ship it to testers.

The Scout Chrome extension is open source — fork it, customize it, and send builds to anyone who needs to reproduce issues. Record locally and export .scout files without a Scout account.

Scout SaaS

Built for teams.

Pair your domains in Scout. The official Scout Chrome extension automatically records sessions on paired domains and sends them to your team dashboard. Start free, then upgrade to Pro, Studio, or Scale as your testing program grows.

Pricing

Pricing built around the products you test, not the people helping you test them.

Invite as many external testers as you need. Choose a plan based on verified domains, report volume, retention, and the tools your team needs to run an organized testing program.

External testers & extension installs are unlimited on every plan.

Bounties

Bounty pools are funded separately from your subscription. Scout charges a 10% platform fee on awards — not included as monthly bounty credits in any plan.

Frequently asked questions

What counts toward my report limit?
Each session or report ingested into your workspace in the current billing month counts once — including uploads from the Chrome extension, web upload, and API.
Do external testers use paid seats?
No. External testers, bounty participants, and extension installs are unlimited on every plan. Only internal team members consume seats.
How do verified domains work?
You verify ownership of each product domain you test. Free includes 1 domain; Pro 3; Studio 15. Scale is negotiated.
What happens if I cancel or downgrade?
Paid access continues until the end of the billing period. Existing data is not deleted; new over-limit activity is blocked until you fit the plan or upgrade.
Are bounties included in the subscription?
No. Bounty pools are funded separately. Scout charges a 10% platform fee on bounty awards — that is not a subscription allowance.
